Abstract: Social conflict is a sensible issue in Peru, because its links to unsolved problems demanding public monitoring in order ensure the country's stable performance. The effort of the Ombudsman's Office in Peru collects mainly qualitative analysis, publishing information about social conflicts. Due to the complexity of this information, this study identifies a huge opportunity to use AI algorithms to perform natural language processing (NLP) and natural language understanding (NLU) on available data contributing with real applications to build a path for a more accurate and faster social conflict analysis in Peru, highlighting technological paths to develop a deeper AI NLP analysis.
